Who am I?

I am twenty-six years old. I was born and brought up in Hyderabad, though I consider myself a citizen of the world.

I love watching movies, reading books and essays. These days my taste leans towards cinema and literature. They have also opened me to the arts and culture in a larger sense, and their criticism. I don’t own a TV. I find it more conenient to be an outsider, an observer living along the fringes of society. Cartman, House and Thoreau are a few major influences.

I am more analytical and less cynical than I used to be. I occasionally write well and I have written for a few magazines. My email ID is cinecynic@gmail.com.
