Who am I?
I am an outsider, an observer, and an ardent devotee of the fascinating world of cinema. Cinema is unparalleled as a platform that enables the growth of arts and commerce, writing and acting, fashion and animation, and many other fields. Cinema mirrors the society and sometimes initiates and propagates an image transition. What is more, cinema provides livelihood for millions and entertains billions.
To me cinema is not just a means to escape from this world for a couple of hours, but also a means to observe the world with greater objectivity. An objectivity that is encapsulated by the bundle of prejudices that make my self, nevertheless devoid of my immediate day-to-day concerns.
Being a writer, I believe in characters and plot more than the appearance that the external paraphernalia can bring in. That is the reason why some books are always better than their movie adaptations.
I read more than I watch movies. And I like media in general. I might also pen my thoughts about these, and an infinite other things, about which I know as little as I do about movies.
